Mon Valley Circles: Helping Families Move Out of Poverty

Monday, February 22, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Are you committed to making our community a better place, one person at a time? Are you interested in joining Circles, a community working to end poverty?

Circles is committed to helping families move out of poverty. At Circles, we believe every member of the community has gifts and strengths to share with others. Participants have the opportunity to identify their strengths to improve their lives and to help build their community. Community volunteers and families who are working their way out of poverty build relationships with each other in an effort to break down isolation, keep children safe, educate the community about poverty, and achieve economic self-sufficiency. When you join Circles, you are joining a community who will be cheering you on, as we work together to eliminate barriers to ending poverty.

Admission is free and open to the public – no registration necessary.

This event is part of One Book | Our Community, an initiative of the Monroeville Interfaith Ministerium in partnership with the Monroeville Public Library and Mon Valley Circles.
