Bridges out of Poverty Training
Tuesday, May 3, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
This training is for professionals who want to learn more about helping families in poverty.
In this one day workshop, participants will create a mental model of poverty research, examine a theory of change, and analyze poverty through the prism of the hidden rules of class, resources, family structure and language. The seminar puts into words what many veteran professionals and community members have experienced. Throughout the workshop, participants will receive specific strategies for improving outcomes for people living in poverty, but the focus of the workshop is to provide a broad overview of the concepts.
Included with your registration are snacks and coffee, book, training, and materials.
This workshop will be led by Chuck Holt. Chuck is the Executive Director of The Factory Ministries, a local authorized consultant of The aha! Process, and a certified Bridges out of Poverty trainer.
This workshop is sponsored by The Factory Ministries. Bridges out of Poverty is a training from the work of The aha! Process, Inc.
This event is part of One Book | Our Community, an initiative of the Monroeville Interfaith Ministerium in partnership with the Monroeville Public Library and Mon Valley Circles.
